CAMERA FOR EARLY DETECTION OF DECAY, WITHOUT X-RAY

Thanks to technology DIFOTI (Digital Imaging Fiber Optic Illumination Trans) the DIGICAM allows us to detect early and without any X-ray emission any type of tooth decay, even in its initial phase (therefore invisible to the naked eye).

How does it work?

The tooth is illuminated by two laser beams, then conveyed to a sensor which processes a precise image of the entire tooth, including domestic. This 3D image is then transmitted to the computer and displayed on a high definition screen.

What is the advantage?

The images, stored in a database, allowing observation of the health of the tooth that can overcome the human eye. So, the DIAGNOSTICAM is useful in identifying any caries in early stages. In this way, the monitoring of smaller lesions facilitates an accurate survey of caries, which can be fixed to time through a proper diet and the constant use of fluoride gel.
